If you see a sticker or logo like the "QC" image on this page that means a quality control visual inspection was completed on your product prior to being packaged and processed for delivery.
The visual inspection is looking for product damage or manufacturer defects.
Our slate rock photograph frames and slates are a natural product with natural flaws. These flaws are NOT considered defects. Quite the contrary. Natural flaws are what make these pieces unique and different.
Each product we create is custom and individually made by hand. Every item will be different and not exact. Meaning, the location of embellishment is done by hand. Each could be slightly different. Application of embellishments are individually printed or produced and could be slightly different. Each artist has their own unique processes thus the end pieces can be slightly different.
Bottom lines... You are buying personally embellished pieces. What you may see as a "defect" may have passed our inspection as a "Custom Difference". That does not mean me don't want you to be happy with your piece(s). If you find something you deem not acceptable, please contact us so we can hopefully resolve the issue.
If you are seeking "exact" items, it would be best to order mass-produced products made by machine. We will assist you in this endeavor if that is what you are seeking.
Each type of embellishment has a different application process. Each process can have small "flaws" that do not have a negative impact on the quality and very little impact on appearance. Please remember that custom embellishment is a post manufacture process added to an existing product. The product was manufactured for your specific intent. We do our very best to offer you amazing finished pieces and will do what we can to make your reasonable expectations a reality. However, expecting "perfection" or "near perfection" is not an expectation we can accomplish.
